If you're new to chiropractic care you probably have questions. Here are some of the most common ones.
How long will it take to get well? How many visits will I need?
This, of course, depends on the person. On average, for an acute condition 3-6 visits followed by maintenance or as needed treatment. Chronic conditions are generally more complicated and may require more treatment.
Is it true that once you see a chiropractor you have to keep going?
Maintenance is strictly the decision of the patient. Once an acute condition resolves it's a good idea to continue with maintenance treatments. These can vary from once a month to every few months, to whenever, depending on your lifestyle. This can be equated to having your teeth cleaned. Chiropractic care is good for life!
I'm afraid of being "cracked."
The type of chiropractic practiced in this office is 100% non-force and does not involve any cracking, twisting or popping. It is gentle and safe.
Does insurance cover chiropractic care?
Many insurances do cover chiropractic care. If your insurance covers out-of-network chiropractic it will pay a portion of your treatment at this office once your deductible is met.
